Se siete amanti della serie di Ghostbusters, dovete assolutamente fare vostro il cofanetto a 8 dischi che Eagle Pictures porterà a breve in Italia
Si chiama Ghostbusters: Ultimate Collection ed è un cofanetto Blu-ray/Ultra HD Blu-ray che Sony Pictures ha annunciato per l’1 febbraio (a distribuirlo in Italia sarà Eagle Pictures). Conterrà ben otto dischi, di cui due Blu-ray interamente dedicati agli extra con oltre 20 ore di approfondimenti tra dietro le quinte, interviste e memorabilia di ogni genere (10 dei quali del tutto nuovi). Il cofanetto riproduce la mitica trappola per fantasmi dei film (con tanto di luci), oltre a una ristampa del volume di 220 pagine dal titolo Making Ghostbusters risalente al 1985.
Tutti e quattro film della serie saranno compresi nel box multidisco anche in versione digitale, mentre su supporto fisico troveremo solo i primi due capitoli e il recentissimo Ghostbusters: Legacy. Il tanto vituperato spin-off al femminile del 2016, che si era rivelato un discreto flop ai botteghini, sarà invece disponibile solo in versione digitale. Sony Pictures, inizialmente, non voleva nemmeno inserirlo nel cofanetto, ma alla fine, dopo le proteste di numerosi fan della serie e del regista Paul Feig, ha accettato di includerlo sebbene non su supporto fisico.
Alla fine, quindi, Ghostbusters: Ultimate Collection comprende tutti i quattro film della serie, con i primi tre che erano già stati proposti in Ultra HD Blu-ray nel 2016 e che oggi sono di difficile reperibilità. Questa volta però Sony Pictures offrirà i primi due capitoli della serie con video rimasterizzato in Dolby Vision (anche Legacy sarà in DV), mentre per il terzo episodio solo in digitale non abbiamo ancora dettagli precisi.
La traccia audio originale delle versioni in Ultra HD Blu-ray sarà presentata in Dolby Atmos, mentre, in attesa di conferme ufficiali da parte di Eagle Pictures, per quelle italiane dovremmo aspettarci le già note tracce in Dolby Digital 5.1, anche se nel caso del recente Legacy potremmo trovare qualcosa di più performante (o almeno lo speriamo di cuore).
Molta curiosità infine per quanto riguarda gli extra. Se le versioni in Blu-ray dei tre film conterranno alcuni commenti audio, sono i due dischi interamente dedicati ai contenuti speciali a fare la parte del leone. Non ci credete? Ecco l’elenco completo.
