Si chiama Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection ed è un cofanetto con oltre 100 Blu-ray che raccoglie 100 film di animazione targati Disney, dal Biancaneve e i sette nani del 1937 fino al recentissimo Elemental (non mancano quindi i film Pixar). La sua uscita per ora è attesa solo negli USA il 14 novembre al prezzo di 1500 dollari, con i pre-order che partiranno dal 18 settembre su Walmart.com.
Al momento quindi non è in previsione un’uscita in altri Paesi, ma mai dire mai. Le informazioni su questo colossale box sono ancora scarse. Sappiamo solo che, assieme ai dischi, verrà fornito un codice download per ogni film e che per alcuni titoli Pixar è previsto un secondo Blu-ray dedicato agli extra (non sappiamo quindi esattamente quanti dischi ci saranno in totale).
Il cofanetto conterrà anche qualche gadget fisico e i film saranno divisi in tre volumi in ordine cronologico. Peccato per l’assenza di Ultra HD Blu-ray, ma in ogni caso si tratta di un box da collezione che, nonostante il prezzo (ma alla fine si parla di circa 15 dollari a film e quindi non un’enormità), non mancherà di intrigare tantissimi appassionati.
